Fresh Homeade Pizza




This pizza recipe is one of the recipes I have tried.Its different from other pizzas because it still keeps its fluffiness but has its crunch .  It has tons of flavor and love into it !It's fairly simple and has a great crust and sauce.Its You can do whatever toppings that please your taste.

1.Mix together warm water and honey. Sprinkle over the yeast until dissolves.



7. Pre- heat the oven to 500 F
8. Add crushed tomatoes,red wine vinegar,granulated garlic,dried basil,oregano,thyme,black pepper,water,and salt together in a bowl.


9.Roll out the dough to 13 in diameters.
10.Take 1/4 cup of sauce and circle it around the dough.
11.Add 2 cups of mozzarella cheese and toppings.
12.Make sure it is spread evenly

14.Enjoy and eat!
13.Bake pizza for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbling,













Pizza Dough 

Prep: 15 minutes 
Rise:1 hour
Rest: 15 minutes

Ingredients


  • 1 1/2 cups of warm water (105 F to 115 F)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 package active try yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 4 to 4/12 all - purpose flour or bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt 
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Cornmeal (optional) 

This recipe makes two pizzas.

1. In a small bow stir warm water and honey . Sprinkle yeast over the water mixture; let it stand a few minutes until it slightly foams then stir.

2. Brush a large bowl with some olive oil ; set aside. In a food processor ( if not standing mixture) combine 4 cups of flour and salt. Run the food processor on low while adding 1/4 of olive oil and the yeast mixture through the feed tube.  Process until the dough becomes a ball and all of the ingredients are incorporated. Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Knead dough for 2 to 3 minutes until no longer sticky,adding remaining flour,1 tablespoon at a time ,as needed.

3.Place dough in the large greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or a cover. Let pizza dough rise at room temperature (70 F to 72 F ) until doubles in size 1 to 1 1/2 hours). Punch down dough and divide dough into two portions*.Cover loosely with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap; let rise for 15 more minutes.

4. On a lightly floured surface roll one portion of the dough with a floured rolling pin into a circle of 13 inches in diameter or an oval about 1/4 inch thick. Brush olive oil the pan using. Sprinkle cornmeal on pan.

5. Use the Pizza sauce recipe.

Pizza Sauce

Start to Finish : 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes,undrained
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar.
  • 1.2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt

Toppings:

1/2 cup tomatoes
1/4 cup basil
1/2 chopped mushrooms.

1. In a medium bowl whisk together tomatoes,vinegar, garlic , basil ,oregano,thyme,and black pepper. Whisk in 1/4 cup if water and enough salt to taste. If necessary add more of the water to thin sauce. (if sauce is thick at this stage it will be pasty on the pizza. Its should evenly spread over the dough.) Add remaining salt to taste, 
2. For an 8-to 10 inch pizza , use 1/4 cup of the sauce. This recipe makes 3 cups.
You can freeze sauce in freezer bags like zip-lock . Defrost when ready. 


6.Pre heat oven to 500 F . Ladle 1/4 cup of pizza sauce on pizza .Add 2 cups of mozzarella cheese on pizza. Make sure to spread evenly. For toppings  I chopped then put 1/2 cup of tomatoes and 1/4 cup of fresh basil, and 1/2 cup of mushrooms.Add your favorite toppings on its up to you! Bake for 10 minutes.


7. Enjoy!
